Well Whats HOME?
HOME is Sonys Playstation 3 second life adaption, but we do hope with out the buggy nature of its PC counterpart. Imagine a hybrid of sims+messenger+bebo+my space all rolled into one. It will hopefully offer the player a fully customisable virtual avatar able to walk, talk and explore the landscape which is also customisable at a cost. If HOME sticks close to the roots of second life it should allow us the players to build and customise just about anything!
HOME is what sony are currently pitching up against the Xbox 360 and Wii Online band wagons, HOME is still very much in a .... Out when its out kind of state.
Although announced ages ago (not as bad as Duke Nukem Forever thou) work is apparently progressing at the target rate Sony was expecting although slippage dates and new features are keeping the product from making a downloadable beta possible... I hope unlike Microsofts VISTA, HOME will come out when its ready NOT when we want it too.
